Sean Robinson, the owner of the premises, is a diving instructor with over 30 years of experience in commercial and recreational scuba diving, with over 20,000 dives to his credit. He is considered a pioneer in the diving industry in Trinidad and Tobago!
Sean, Kathleen and their team are dedicated to teaching diving, with programs in many schools across the country. Tobago Dive Experience certifies more divers per year than any other center in the Caribbean!
These self-catering units offer a unique “stay and dive” experience. Located just steps from the shore and the dive shop, you’ll be part of the diving family in no time!
You’ll have a community deck and dining area adjacent to the suites, complete with a gas grill and wet bar. You can prepare your own meals as each suite is equipped with a full-size refrigerator, stove, kettle, toaster oven and coffee machine

Recently opened by the owners of Tobago Dive Experience, Finz Restaurant is located on the ground floor of the Speyside Inn Hotel. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and is frequented by many divers who usually stay in Speyside. The menu is original and changes often, Sean, the owner, is a great traveller and his menu shows it. The fish in the spotlight here is the famous Lionfish that the local dive instructors hunt at all hours because it invades the Caribbean. It is an excellent fish! Highly recommended.

Kathleen Robinson has worked in the dive travel industry for over 15 years, planning and booking individual and group trips for divers, dive clubs and dive shops in the Caribbean and Central America. After leaving the dive travel industry, she managed Manta Lodge for Sean, who built the hotel 20 years ago.
