Mariposa Garden

Wake up to the sound of birds singing.
Embark on a journey through the captivating history that laid the foundations of Café Mariposa. It all began in 1984, when the harmonious bond of seven sisters, bound by their shared love of music, won a momentous victory at a music festival. This triumph not only marked a pivotal moment in their lives, but also lit the spark that would lead to the creation of something truly special. In the picturesque beauty of Lopinot, the family home has flourished as a haven for music, nature and bird lovers. Café Mariposa offers a menu prepared with ingredients from the Guerrero’s organic farm. Traditional Creole dishes and fresh river fish are served in creative compositions concocted with passion and most of the time made with cacao, let’s not forget that Lopinot was a Cacao plantation. A great place for lunch or dinner. You can also sleep there, the restaurant has three cute rooms, basic but very pleasant, with a view of the mountain and many hummingbirds. A very friendly welcome by the Guerrero sisters, iconic of Lopinot.
